                                                 A message from your PTA President….

 

 

 

 

 

Welcome to the 2011- 2012 school year.  I am very excited and honored to have such an important role in supporting our Alimacani Family.  This is my 6th year at this wonderful school. Alimacani PTA is excited to be “Sailing the Seas of Success” with our great school.

 

          Alimacani PTA has been working hard this summer on many projects for this coming school year.  This fall we will start with a bang!  Mark your calendars for our 3rd annual Fall Carnival.  It will be on Saturday, October 15 from 11AM -5PM.  You won’t want to miss the exciting activities we have planned for it.  We’re looking forward to having all our Alimacani families come out and spend the day together.  

            Our fall fundraiser kicks off on September 26 and runs until October 7.  Our fundraiser provides the necessary funds for the many programs that the PTA offers to the children and families at Alimacani. 

                         We would like to encourage all Alimacani families to join the PTA.

 Our theme this year is “ One Person Can Make a Difference”. Our goal is to increase our membership by 5% this year.  With your $5.00 membership, you will support our efforts to ensure every child has a voice from the local, state and national level.  Our goal is to have 100% of the parents, teachers and community join. Help us reach 100%!

            The PTA will have a full slate of programs for which we will be needing volunteers.  Please see the purple volunteer form in your packet. By filling out the form we will then communicate with our families by email with special dates and events. You can also visit our website www.alimacanipta.com.  Open House dates this year are: September 8th- Pre-K, 1, 3, and 5 & September 15th - K, 2, and 4.

 

 

 Please visit the PTA membership table on Open House Night.  We look forward to meeting you all!  Alimacani has always been fortunate to have excellent, supporting, and caring parents.  Thank you in advance for caring about the children of the Alimacani Family.
