Welcome to the 2009 – 2010 school year! The PTA Executive Board promises this
year will be an exciting one. “Go Wild” with the Alimacani PTA. We invite you to join
and get involved. By joining you become a member of Alimacani PTA, Florida PTA
and the National PTA. You can vote at Local, State and National meetings. PTA
member’s support goes toward the education, health and safety of all children in
your school community and the nation.
Our theme this year is: Wild About Children!
We encourage parents, teachers, grandparents, other relatives, community business leaders and neighbors to join. If you have more than one child at Alimacani, all of your children and their classes will receive credit for each membership. Complete and return only one envelope listing all of the children’s names in your family, as well as the adult’s name for each $5.00 membership.
Teachers whose classroom has reached 100% membership by October 1, 2009 will receive a $25.00 gift card to Office Max. Help your child’s teacher to be one of the first to receive their $25.00 gift card. Your membership costs only $5.00. This money is divided between the National PTA, the State PTA and Alimacani PTA. The money sent to the National and State levels is used to be a legislative voice for the protection and equality of our children in our State and Country. The remaining money remains at Alimacani to directly enrich the lives of our children.
