A message from your PTA President…..
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. I’m very excited and honored to have such an important role in supporting our Alimacani school. This is my 10th year at this wonderful school. I feel, as all Alimacani parents should, that it is a privilege to be a part of the Alimacani family. Alimacani PTA is “Wild about Children” and we have been working hard this summer on many projects to make this one of the best years at Alimacani for the students. This fall we will start with a bang. Mark your calendars for our very exciting Fall Carnival. It will be on Saturday, October 17, from 11 AM -5 PM. You won’t want to miss the exciting activities we have planned for it. We are looking forward to having all Alimacani families come out and spend the day together. More information regarding this event will be in the first issue of our PTA newsletter. Our Fall fundraiser kicks off on September 8 and runs until September 22. Our fundraiser provides the necessary funds needed to offer the many programs that the PTA offers to the children and families at Alimacani. We are really excited about the fundraiser. This year’s catalog is full of great values and the incentives for the children are wonderful! Be looking for details on our Fall Fundraiser.
We’d like to encourage all Alimacani families to join our PTA. With your $5.00 membership you will support our efforts to ensure every child at Alimacani reaches his/her potential. Our goal is to have 100% of the parents join. Help us reach 100%!
The PTA will be having a very full slate of programs for which we will be needing volunteers. Please see the volunteer form in your packet. You can also visit our website www.alimacanipta.com. Please visit the PTA question & answer table and membership table at Open House; we look forward to meeting all of you! Alimacani has always been fortunate to have excellent, caring parents. Thank you for caring not only about your children but about all the children of the Alimacani family. This is going to be a great year!
