Just a quick reminder, that we are still collecting bags of individually wrapped Valentine candy for the Alimacani staff until next Wednesday, Feb. 10th. If you would like to help by providing a bag or two of candy that will go in the gift bags for our great staff, please drop off to the office no later than next Wednesday if you could. We have a box in the office that you can drop your donation in.
We will be putting the bags together next Thursday and handing them out to the staff on Friday.
We thank the families that have already sent candy in… we greatly appreciate it, as will the staff- smile!

Playground Committee Forming!
If you are interested in rebuilding the Alimacani playground...we need you!! Starting in February, playground committee chairperson Kathy Kaiserian is forming a group to spearhead this incredibly important project.
Early estimates put the project cost at $50,000 or more, so our focus this year is rallying the community for a good cause. We're looking for Alimacani staff, parents, volunteers and community members with enthusiasm and dedication to join the team.
Please attend our kick-off meeting set for Friday, Feb 12 at 12pm in the media center (tentative location). If you are interested, email Kathy at mommegator@yahoo.com.
Purchase a 12 pack of their Via Ready Brew, mention Alimacani PTA at the Starbucks at San Pablo and they will donate $1 to our playground fund!!!
